Comfortable two-bedroom apartment in the heart of the historic Garbatella district, a stone's throw from the Historic Center.
The apartment, about 60 square meters, is located on the first floor without a lift of a residential building in the historic Garbatella district.
Recently renovated in August 2024, it consists of:
• Living room with sofa, dining table and fully equipped kitchenette;
• Bedroom with double bed and comfortable desk;
• Bedroom with two double beds, organized as a bunk bed;
• Bathroom with shower.
This tourist accommodation, complete with bed linen and towels, is equipped with air conditioning, washing machine, smart TV.
The apartment is located in the heart of the Garbatella district, founded in the early 1900s, not far from the Historic Center.
Over time, Garbatella has not lost its characteristic of being a “village neighborhood” but be careful, not in a derogatory sense, on the contrary, it has retained its calm, silence and popular aspect: the entire neighborhood is divided into “lots”, large surfaces occupied by buildings no higher than three floors that surround internal courtyards and gardens, meeting points for the population, with wash houses, clothes drying racks, shops, cellars and low walls for sitting especially on warm summer evenings. There are many characteristic areas of the neighborhood, to name a few, the Fontana Carlotta (the name of the innkeeper) in Piazza Rinaldo da Montecroce, damaged in the past by vandals and then restored in 1998 with an adjoining staircase called "of the lovers", the elementary school "Cesare Battisti" of clear fascist construction, at the end of the rectangular square, present in the Cesaroni series, the "scoletta" in Piazza Nicola Longobardi, which is not just any school, but an old villa of the papal nobility of the 16th century, Villa Rosselli, obtained from a Roman villa of the 1st century AD, the setting for some parts of the film "Totò and Marcellino".
The apartment is well connected to the most central areas of the city.
The "Garbatella" metro (line B) is about 8 minutes away on foot; from there you can reach Termini station in about 10 minutes and the Colosseum in 5 minutes.
Alternatively, you can reach Circo Massimo or Piazza Venezia with numerous bus lines such as numbers 715 and 716.
