The apartment is located a stone's throw from Piazza Navona and Piazza Campo dé Fiori.
Designated as the historic center, it is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Rome, of extraordinary artistic wealth, which has become the tourist heart of the city.
Among its beautiful alleys, busy, but still fascinating, the splendid Piazza Navona has maintained the shape of an ancient stadium.
Under the Roman Republic, in this flat area along the Tiber, part of the ancient Campo Marzio (the god of war), Roman soldiers trained and political demonstrations were held.
The physiognomy changed under the empire, construction accelerated with thermal baths, theaters and other monuments.
Much later, in the Middle Ages, two nearby markets were established, the first in Piazza Navona, and the other in Campo de’ Fiori.
A major reshuffle began in the 15th century, continuing during the Renaissance, when a great Baroque embellishment was encountered with the construction of numerous palaces, fountains and churches.
The apartment is very central, most of the tourist attractions can be reached in a few minutes on foot.
The area is also very well served by public transport, with numerous bus lines that pass through the nearby Via Zanardelli, Corso del Rinascimento and Corso Vittorio Emanuele.
